What You Can Expect When Working With Me

I enter our relationship with the intent to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world, deepen understanding, and challenge yourself. I’ll often ask questions to deepen exploration of emotions, check-in around your experience in session, and collaborate with you to determine what you might need in between sessions.

I’ll often initiate discussion around your values/what is important to you, your identities, your relationship with yourself, the mind-body connection, and ways in which your past relationships relate to your current relationships. As needed, I will introduce skills that can be helpful in coping with anxiety and difficult emotions.

While the topics and emotions explored in therapy can at times feel uncomfortable, my goal as your therapist is to make sure that you have the coping skills in place to feel safe in this exploration.

I aim to assist you in building self-trust, leaning into your strengths, and working toward your goals—at a pace that feels supportive to you.

I’ve received feedback that I am kind, warm, non-judgmental, and gently challenging.

I am actively engaged in session, and responsive to feedback. I see us as partners in your healing, and I deeply honor the wisdom you bring with you to this relationship.
